Chairmanship is rotated between the states on a three yearly basis. The host state’s representative on the Natural Resources Planning and Policies Committee chairs the committee and Secretariat Australia provides the secretariat for the Committee.
Currently Diana Leeder, A/Executive Director, Natural Resource Management, Department of Natural Resources, Environment and the Arts, Northern Territory is the Chair of the Vertebrate Pests Committee.
