Aboriginal attitudes and perceptions of land management issues differ considerably from those of mainstream land managers. Explanations for the nature and condition of land and resources have their root in Aboriginal culture rather than in the western scientific paradigm. This is an issue of great importance when looking at any of the activities which take place on Aboriginal land. A key recommendation of this report is the need for improved dialogue and information flow between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal land managers.
